I use foobar2000 v0.8.3 and I'm attempting to create an audio CD image using foobar2000's Audio CD writing plug-in. Here's the catch: I'm trying to make an image just under 100 minutes.
I custom cut an assortment of audio files to a length of something like 99:55 and them self-volume leveled them in foobar by modifying ReplayGain settings. What I want to do is make these files into an image file burn in Nero 7 since the Audio CD Writing plug-in doesn't support overburning. So I go to the Audio CD Writing plug-in settings and specify Image recorder and all that. I go to create the image, and it processes all the songs and then when it starts writing the image to the hard drive (where the progress bar starts over and says "writing disc") the "CD writing failed" message immediately displays. So I fool around with some ideas and find out when I remove one of the songs from the list (which was about 2 minutes long) it writes the image just fine.
My question is this: Does foobar's CD writing plug-in have a size limit when used for creating images? If it's 100 minutes, then I guess it's safe to say the plug-in add pauses in-between tracks which would cause the total time to indeed go above 100 minutes...
Some other things that come to mind that may be causing this issue:
The fact that I have Nero 7 installed
Settings in Nero
Limitation of image format?
Bug?
Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!
