hey, just a small crash problem...

whenever i close foobar on a CD Audio playlist, remove the disk, and then start foobar, it can't find the CD and crashed (i have play on program start activated).

is there a way to fix this? perhaps a way to check if the CD is there, and then either play it, or go to a default playlist?

Which version of foobar2000 are you using? Do you have a crashlog?
Frank Bicking
Does it really crash or do you just see a "Playback error" window with lots of messages like
QUOTE
Unable to open item for playback (I/O error):
"cdda://<some number>"
DarkBlackCorner
its version 0.8.3 (using the special install)

i do see the error box, just before the crash, but yes it does crash.

here's the crash log:

another wierd thing about it is that it doesn't always do this. sometimes it just displays the error, and continues to work.

Either this is caused by a third party component, then you have to find out which one it is and get the respective author to fix it. Or it is in the foobar2000 core/an official component, then you would have to switch to 0.9, because 0.8.3 will no longer receive updates.
