I have installed the beta13 onto 2 xp pcs without any problems.
but when i tried to install it onto the 2000 machine at my house i got a lot of errors with columnsUI, console, and albumlist'
the inital error message told me i needed to have msvcr80.dll installed in the Program Files\Foobar2000 file. so i found that and installed it but then i still had errors. I never had to install that file on my xp pcs. any ideas?
thanks

A more detailed account would be helpful.
"but then I still had errors" doesn't exactly tell us much, nobody's going to be able to help you based on this somewhat vague bit of information alone.

Also put it in the components folder. Or install windows installer 3.1 and the MSVC 2005 redistributables.

I get errors installing the msvc 2005 because a "dll is missing". possibly the same msvcr80.dll?
Where would i find the windows installer 3.1?
thanks for the help

I would advise you not to download random dlls from google and instead take a closer look at where you got those components from.

Go here:
http://music.morbo.org/beta.phpThere's a glaring link to here from there:
http://music.morbo.org/wiki/misc:vc2005_crtThe answers are there. You may want to delete the beta version of msvcr80.dll you apparently initially downloaded.
