I've been considering using my computer for active crossover duty. I'd be using the crossover from AEDIO or François Bourdon's crossover. I've also been considering using Behringer's DCX2496 to do active crossover duty. From a sound quality standpoint, which one would be better? Thanks for the help.

EDIT: I should clarify that I am talking about the quality of the crossover algorithms, not the quality of the DAC's I could use. I've also read on another forums that Behringer uses IIR filters, but not sure.

EDIT 2: Ok, so from this thread I found out the AEDIO is FIR:

So that means I am going PC active crossover. Does anybody know what Bourdon's crossover is, FIR or IIR? I'm using 3-way, and Bourdon's crossover is less CPU intensive than AEDIO's.
