I noted that a few files that I have that were encoded with Lame 3.97 beta Extreme, (avg. bitrate: 281kbps) freeze foobar. It attempts to playback but it's locking up. These files play fine in every other player I try. I checked the files in encspot to make certain they weren't corrupt but that's not the case.

Please upload sample files so we can examine the problem.

the problem doesn't seem to happen everytime. After restarting foobar a few times it disappeared. Though it has happened more than once but only with files ripped with the lame 3.97 beta at alt preset extreme.
