Could anyone please tell me how I could properly equalize my headphones, they are Sony MDR-V150.

I did a VST plugin with crossfeed and equalisation for headphones.
It includes a signal generator and wav player to help to find best parameters, adapted to your hears.
Check it at crossfeed+EQ plugin
It has been done first for Rockbox users but I think it may help any headphone user.
You will find some advices on how to test and equalize.
