hello,
i use 2 accounts on my machine. one administrator (for installing programs for example) and a normal user account for anything else.

i installed foobar 0.9 RC 2006-03-05 with my admin account and i checked install for all users

now when i run foobar with my user account, drag&drop something to the playlist, then close foobar i always get the following errors:

QUOTE
---------------------------
Error writing configuration file
---------------------------
Configuration file could not be written (Access denied).
If you choose 'cancel', your recent configuration changes will be lost.

and

maybe the installer should set different rights, when you install it "for all users"

Check "enable per-user settings" in installer - otherwise settings are written to installation directory which is read-only for limited users.

Or, if using Windows XP Pro (or 2000), set the foobar2000 folder to full access for all users (recursive)
