Im interestied in buying a pair of Infinity Primus 150 speakers as well as a sub, a chaintech 710 and a reciever. My question is this: how would i connected the subwoofer to the speakers? Is there a way to connect the two directly or would i have to connect the sub to the receiver? I know that ill have to get a receiver that has a digital input.

Could someone please recommend a good subwoofer and receiver to buy? thanks.

For the receiver, just get something in your price range that has the features you want. sub output, do you want stereo or surround capability, if you don't want surround today, will you in the future? how many inputs/outputs do you need? will you ever be recording vinyl onto your computer? if so get a receiver with a phono input.

I like my Onkyo receiver very much, but it's less about brand name than about features, as long as the product's competantly designed.

For the sub, Hsu products are very nice http://www.hsuresearch.com/
