Hello, anyone interested in porting foo_ui_notepad?
I found a link on Google:
http://foo.cjb.net/foobar2000/old_school_G..._ui_notepad.dllI'm not too sure which version this is for, maybe 0.7?
4Front Headphones Plugin has been ported to 0.9.
Enjoy It!

I would like to see an update of foo_dynamics from 0.8.3, and also, foo_skip_silence.
foo_vlevel only amplifies the volume of the track, it doesn't compress the entire waveform. It's extremely noticable when this occurs. Quiet instruments will be loud and then they will be far too quiet as something louder comes in. foo_dynamics compressed the whole waveform so all of the different instruments ended up being at about the same level.
and why wasn't skip_silence included with 0.9? it's essential.

Good news about
foo_dsp_skip_silence (click) that seems to be quite popular.

Why foo_unpack is still in the Wanted ports list as it is included in the foobar installer?? I guess you can remove it

Aye RavenSoft, sorry but I was busy with school stuff, the end of the year is a bit of a rush. It's updated.
"foo_wma implemented into 0.9.1"
Only half-implemented. Tagging is not implemented.
So I would like to add foo_wma to the wanted list please.
Thank you!

It's unlikely to happen as the wma support is included in foo_input_std.
Only half-included as I said!

I mean it's not quite possible to write another plugin to support wma, as foo_input_std will not ask other plugins to play wma as it can support playing them.
so the possible solutions are:
1. make foo_input_std open source, so people can implement the undone part
2. ask the developer to finish the undone part
3. remove the wma support in foo_input_std to let people implement a new one
4. change all wma extension to other, and have a new plugin to play the files with that extension

So it's impossible to create a separate plug-in which would only take care of the tags. Tagging is so bound to the playback part ?

It is not possible to split the functionality of an input service across multiple instances, so no, you cannot implement tagging and playback of a given format in separate components.

Question: am I missing something about foo_utils? 'Cause I can't quite see some of the options I had in foo_playlist_output... Like the whole 'write playlist to a file' part? =s
Nice list anyways, useful ^^

I've been looking for speex support since the advent of the 0.9x series. I'm very glad to hear I'm not the only user who would appreciate it.

Could someone be kind enough to port it to 0.9, please?

So what if you guys release a version of foo_input_std without WMA support, so that another dev can handle tagging. Win win situation?

foo_music_title_bar.dll
Plugin home pageI don't know how many people use this plugin, it's not ver well known I think. But it's quite handy. It's able to place several buttons, and title song and elapsed time on the title bar of every on-top window. This enables you to handle foobar fast and everytime, without having to click outside your window, or minimize the window. I hope someone will port it soon!
Please add this plugin to wanted ports list...

I don't know if such plugin already exists, but I definitely could use a volume control that can be inserted in the DSP chain. I would also like it to include a peak/RMS meter so that I can see what is going in and coming out of various DSP plugins.
It would be nice if could acommodate multichannel audio streams.
My favorite headphone processing plugin- the dolbyhph.dll loaded via the Dolby Headphone bridge seems to have a limiter built in that chokes on 5.1 streams if the music is mastered hot.
Some music sounds really good on headphones if preprocessed by the Channel Mixer first. But it too lacks master output volume control. It only has a few relative volume controls.
A volume control/meter with multiple instance support would be sweet.
I know there is the RG control- I would like something a bit more flexible and advanced.

I ported foo_dts to foobar2000 0.9. There is no configuration, tagging is always enabled and dynamic range compression disabled. It will use tag formats present in file when possible, but adds APEv2 when there are no tags or only ID3v1.

Hi Case, welcome back.
You might have noticed that, in the mean time,
Acropolis has also ported this plugin to 0.9 (and foo_dsp_skip_silence too). It does the job (when you have the VC++2005 runtime installed). I just mentioned this here in case (no pun) confusion arises between these plugin versions.
I guess your plugin will write tags only when a tag changes? Well I hope so.

foo_bluetooth_ctrl
Unless I've completely missed something, there's currently no way to use a symbian phone as a bluetooth remote for foobar 0.9 (I haven't even been able to find something that sends global hotkeys to windows). I've just upgraded from 0.8.3 and it's the one thing I really miss. I don't think the author is planning further development but the sources are available.

"foo_input_std (update requested to read LAME encoder infos + option to force tags format)"
As of 0.9.2 there is an option to force mp3 tag formats under the advanced section in preferences.
I would still like the ability to read LAME encoder info again though.

I really miss foo_uie_dbexplorer. It was simply the quickest and easiest way to access my audio libray in foobar. At the click of a mouse I could switch genres, artists, albums, even listen to music by year. I could combine genres, ie. listen to just Jazz and R&B or Metal, Rock and Classic Rock. I don't know who created this gem, but please, oh please update it for 0.9.

Version 1.0 beta 8 of foo_sic is available for download.
This release should fix issues with foobar2000 0.9.3. It also caches FooID fingerprints, so if the same song gets played twice while foobar2000 is open, the fingerprint will only need to be computed once. The cached fingerprints are not saved persistently.
The option on the advanced preferences page have no effect yet.

Indeed, this command - like the "foosic.org" entry in the ripping dialog - is only a stub that was left in the release version by accident.
