Hello everyone,

I'm new here biggrin.gif . I work on MP3 and AAC (LC, LTP, HE-AAC) for now 6 months.

I'm now ready to test with iso vectors. So I bought everything I need from ISO web site crying.gif .

For MP3 and AAC-LC and LTP I have no problem. I passed cool.gif .

But for HE-AAC I don't know how to use the figure given in 14496-4/Amd8 in table AMD8.3 unsure.gif .

For exemple it's given for QMF test vectors Max diff 5 and RMS(linear value) 1.4.

What should I do now with thoses values. Is Max diff mean 5*3.05*10-5(Q15)?
is the RMS(linear value) mean 20*log10(1.4)=3dB so I need to be under 3dB. (of course I'm hopefully)?

Please Help I don't know wath to do with my figures. So I'm not able to say if I'm compliante or not.

Hi,lebenworld

I'd like to study on the HE-AAC, but I haven't got the standard of the SBR yet.
