It would be nice if foobar could open ftp urls in the "add location" function.

Im looking fore some way to share my music collection when Im at work so I could stream music to the computers there using foobar. The best way I think would be via FTP (or do somebody have another idea?). Does it already exist any plugin like that? Or anybody that is kind enough to help me? biggrin.gif

Exuse me for my bad english.

The way I would do this is by using Winamp, a control server application, and broadcasting on shoutcast. (Unless someone is aware of a fb2k 0.9 shoutcast plugin, which would be pretty cool : - )
RedFox
for foobar 0.8, there's oddcast, which can stream music and transcodes on the fly.
There are also some plugins to control foobar, but I don't know them well.

I use Andromedia: http://rds.yahoo.com/_ylt=A0SO7BAatzpEOZ4A...romeda/home.asp

To serve it, I use Abyss Web Server: http://rds.yahoo.com/_ylt=A0SO7Cd5tzpEWXMA...ourceforge.net/

I use gnump3d to serve my music from home when I am at work.
