The one I posted a bit ago, but changed a bit.

I started using the WMP11 icons, but I changed the play button to be play or pause, as they dont have a pause button that I can tell normally, and I often pause my songs.

I also like the iFoo buttons on the page...

I'm using a self-made WB style - unfortunately a little bit buggy.

You cannot get rid of them mate, what you actually see is a blending out, no more no less.
Just choose a background color for your panels to match the color of those "gray lines"
If fact, it all comes down to what VS you're using.

less space used by vertical captions (2 captions vs 4 before). Foo playlist dropdown for playlist management (to save a vertical caption), I changed the colors also.

But unfortunately I had to put the album art on the right to avoid a resizing bug.. Which makes the config a bit crappy when you change from "main" to "Pl management" splitter

another small change. i'm experimenting with new line of additional track info panels. i guess i should swap the spectrum and time panels. that quicksearch panel should be at better place. menu didn't fit visually with the rest of layout, so i had to move it to autohide section.

this one is better, imho. the pause image is actually trackinfo panel with special dingbats font. it reflects play/pause/stop state ...

eny chance of getting a full code of it? colors layout etc?!?!? :D:D

i run a PC that has a maximum resolution at 1024 X 768 and some of the these fcs make my foobar really huge looking(ex: the playlist columns are cut off)

i was wondering if there was some setting that helps with the resolution/ dpi of the foobar......not the DPI overall(like on the desktop properties, but a separate function that perhaps works like that.

another small update, playing with trackinfo panels. it was quite difficult to find appropriate monospaced font usable at this size .... too bad there are so many problems / bugs in the trackinfo panel :/

How many trackinfo panels do you use? 4?

And: Which font is the small monospaced one? Which font is in the lower TI-panel (Swortfishthrombones|Ronov), is it Arial?

BTW, bit OT: What do you think about the trackinfo panel concept regarding tab()? I've had some problems to change to this syntax (Need tab() to center text). The code can get even more difficult, if you have lots of nested if's... Was easier before with just one center command...

lol. My guess is more like eleven.

at this moment there are 9 panels (though one is not being used for anything atm)

- top line is just one panel with my mod of calibri bold (can be find in the rar of my fcs), i've extended vertical bar so it would go over the whole trackinfo panel's height (and visually divide the space).

- the second line is three trackinfo panels (fonts: calibri bold, block out 2097)

- the third one has 4 trackinfo panels (fonts: calibri, 2x CubicFive10 6pt, block out 2097)

- then there's one with the play / pause glypth on the 4th line (font: buttons and switches jl)

as for the recent changes to trackinfo - well i don't care if i have to use $tab or something else, but there are still bugs / problems with the new way of doing so. you can't create multiline columns (they are not aligned at the same place), there are problems with centering text when it spams over multiple lines, i don't like the way negative line spacing looks now, etc ... we need someone to work on this . (btw, great feature for trackinfo would be configurable left/middle/right/double-click actions (like in the album art panel), this way i could set my play / pause panel to trigger play / pause command etc.

I think (s)he means how you managed to change the colours of your tracknumber or listindex columns album-wise. At least that's what I'd like to know.

Most likely the colour is dependant on a tag such as Genre, ie albums of genre x display in one colour, genre y, in another, etc. Could be anything of the sort though, but im curious as well.

I found an archive with .fcs in one of the earlier posts. mazy's approach is somewhat amazing: foobar calculates checksums from the album tags ($crc32, didn't know that function at all), divides them by 41 (Don't know why mazy chose that number, you can pretty much use any or no division at all) and then mods them by 240 to end up with a value that can be used for the hue in an HSL colour code.

Silversight is right. that division by 41 is typo in old config, it should be 1 (or no div at all). i've posted code for experiments with values to get just the kind of color shades one would want. just put it into style editbox of one column and play with the values.

using that checksum calculated by $crc32 just for hue value results in similar neighbour colors now and then, so i tried to give some variation to saturation and ligtness too (and for that metter, divide hue spectrum by steps larger than 1), but the result isn't all that satisfactory, so i may very well stick with the old way of doing it ... anyway, have your try

I don't know why there was a div() in the old codes... I cleaned mine up.



I changed saturation and lightness a bit as well, and I use different fields (which should all be similar at one folder here), now its just fine.
