I recently finished my foobar. It's nothing new really. I couldn't have make it if it wasnt't for all people who are willing to share their fcs, trackcodes, layouts etc. I must say big thank you to you all. And here is my foobar. Nothing special! AH yes there was one thing that I want to ask, does anyone has any suggestions about what could I put in upper right corner? I cant come up with anything.

I use my comments a lot. Not in the view I posted but a good percentage of them have things in there to help me make playlists and whatnot.

And I really like that artists photo panel. Might have to steal that idea for myself....

question: does anyone know if there's any way to get rid of the stupid little arrows on the album list panel? or skin the seekbar? (i haven't searched sorry.... been trying to rebuild my system and its looks since my hd died =/ ) that and my current xp theme don't really match but i haven't looked for a new one of those yet either.

That is a lyric panel that he already has... I suggest foo_browser. Or you could add an artist photos panel from another instance of album art.

Well thanx to some help from lextune I finally got my album art to display.

This is just the default Columns UI config that I tweaked the colors a bit and got my album art panel split off.



I hope to do much better and repost my results.

This foobar2000 & Columns UI is the greatest thing since sliced bread was invented

EDIT: Are there any alternatives for lyrics plugin? Cous this plugin kinda has online search for lyrics but It finds lyrics for only about 20 % of songs in my playlist!

Nopes. It seems to connect to some chinese database. It only has songs for popular artists.

The search is brutally sensitive too... According to it, matchbox twenty and matchbox 20 are different artists. Same with "the goo goo dolls" and "goo goo dolls"... So, you'll have to manually search for some of them.

Uh, I don't have the latest version of them right now (some minor bugfixes), since I'm in office and there's no fb2k here. Besides I directly copy-paste some graphical characters from CharMap (all looking like little boxes in fb2k's trackinfo dialog). PM me with your email address and I'll mail you the latest version, with the characters typed in $char() instead of direct-copy-paste. Except perhaps the color-changing chars. Too much problem converting them to $rgb equivalents

Edit: In my first posting, I forgot to put credit where credit is due...

• The "No Cover" image is from this posting.
• The 7-segment "Elapsed Time" is a modded version of the script in this posting (i.e. the first post only), modded generally for readability, a better way of getting the digits, spacing tweaks to enable perfect centering (i.e. it will properly center no matter the width of the trackinfo box) etc. (OP of that post has posted a far fancier 7-segment display with animation that I don't like).

Make two albumart panels, one panel refers to the album cover (in my case, d:\music\@covers\%album%.* ), the other panel refers to the artist picture (e.g. d:\music\@artist\%artist%.* )

yes okay, but when i right-klick in layout options there isn´t another album art pannel...

That was only added recently; make sure you're using the latest version.

How did you get the "Foobar2000 Presents Tonight On Stage" pic to display like that? Is it foo_looks?

Well, here is my new work, i´m kinda proud about it

Here is mine fooby, simple but I like it:

I tweaked my colors, add some features, and make a screencap, with Pretty_Pop output caught also:



I don't really like fancy formatting, in addition my brother and his wife now also use foobar And no fancy album-mode columns either. As to why the background is almost all black... suffice to say my eyes are slightly over-sensitive.

Some features:
- Files I forgot to tag got highlighted.
- T# has different color if track is a subsong (e.g. 1 huge MP3 with CUE, like DJ Lev's & DJ Prince's releases)
- Custom tags: DAMAGED, INCOMPLETE, MISNAMED. Presence of a custom tag shown in the Title column.
- The QuickSearch toolbar is resizable! Well, sort of... I put a blank trackinfo panel on its right.

Not visible:
- Size column
- Randomizer column (click and the whole list randomizes)
- Location column (only the path, excl. the filename)

All trackinfo fonts Arial Unicode MS except the 7-segment LED Elapsed Time display (Courier New)

Credits:
- The No Cover album art in the Pretty_Pop, see my previous post.
- The currently displayed No Cover album art: no idea. I found the file lying around and use it.
