ok, that FCS has just converted me to a fullscreen foobar user. Damn, and i was a hardcore mini player user for a while, but that has to be one of the best that ive seen so far.

P.S how did you get two album art windows? and did u use foobar tools to make the metadata for the song number column?(the one on the far left that goes into the hundreds)

This post is mainly to express my thanks, but also to display the "final" product that came from the blend of three (directly, but indirectly I'm sure there's more) designs.

-- Habla's "blackwhitered" design (copy & pasted that trackinfo panel, but playstats won't show, and I haven't been interested enough to find out why), Thanks Habla.
-- Brother John's "dark connections" design and of course, his tutorial, which I would have been lost without, Thanks Brother John.
-- And lastly, the default columns ui interface, Thanks to all foobar2000 dev crew.

Also, I will not post the .fcs file mainly because I am not a coder by any means, and I'm sure the code is extremely sloppy. On top of that, I tag my files well, but not near up to par I imagine (i.e. I do not use the disc number tag, I tag discnumbers with the tracknumber: 302 for disc 3 track 2, which became a little problem in the script). If anyone is interested though, please ask either in this thread or via PM.

My somewhat better foobar with the new single column playlist component.

Gotta tinker around with a trackinfomod panel and throw it in there though.

I updated my grey scheme, now including my automatically downloaded artist images and a speaker in a track info panel, Im hoping to include some sort of sexy progress bar into this. Maybe some sort of pie chart progress implementation where a white strip gradually rotates around the circular part of the speaker.

You might be able to script that progress bar with an album art panel actually.

Basically it would have a different image for say, every 10%, then it would have a source which selected an image based on a %. Not sure how you'd make it update dynamically but ya, food for thought.

You could actually use an album art panel for a whole range of skinned elements based on that concept.

Out of curiosity, may I ask what distro you are using?

can u tell me what u used to auto number %_playlist_number%? (whether it be a foobar function or a another program)

What VS is that? I've seen it so many times, but browsing deviantart without a clue about the name is... well... it's pretty hard to find anything you're searching for without a name actually.

Useing the foo_uie_trackinfo_mod and the, still heavily under construction, foo_uie_single_column_playlist.

Just make a column with %_playlist_number% as display. It'll count the number from 1-> for the column. No special function or program needed.
