If you go into the settings, you can choose how the art is saved. One option is Generic, in which you get to pick the filename.

okay, have it set up just like you do, and not working, once i set the art, and then i go to the folder, there is nothing there

Well, I have quite a find I thought I would share. I have found some truly incredible .png button sets with variations in enough color schemes to look great on anyone's configuration. These are real hight quality and contain images suitable to go with a wide variety of corresponding functons, including rating stars,mood hearts and media player buttons. Below I am using the smoke colored set which I loaded in and shrunk under the images menu of infranview to to 32 X 32 and adjusted the gamma and the brightness to meet my needs so as to blend well with the playback buttons. And yes, they are free and can be used for personal purposes with foobar under their license.

(Edit: Lowered button brightness to better match the playback buttons)

this is probably not something i should be asking, but i just fell in love with the milk visual style, and i can use the code that other people to create what i would like in the group display, and item display, but the only thin that i cannot do, is the images that are used... I was wondering if anyone would be able to create a milk like background for mazy's config, so that i could put a transparent image over it, to make it sory of glossy??

You mean you don't understand my problem or you don't know how to fix it?
Your code is set to display both title and play_counter at 8pt, right? Because, all I get if I set title variable to 8 is a blank space. Title only appears when I reduce font size bellow 8.

Anyway, don't need to go crazy with that. I'll live with track title font smaller if theres no easy way to fix it.

am0k (Sorry, I used the nickname Raven before, I prefer to call you am0k), the red is a tad bright on my screen. Unless it's a bit less bright on yours, I'd suggest trying to match the red in your wallpaper. Then again, you've got more experience than I do

The green tick shows that the tags are correct, the album has been burned to cd and is all a-ok.
I have other logos for when an album needs burning, when it has just been downloaded (app logos) or when the album needs tagging.

A couple of features not in the screenshot are how I show ratings and the is_playing display.

I personally find the white to be brighter since it is more in contrast with the black background than the red is. I think the red looks good, though I do prefer blue. Anyway, the reason I am bringing this up is that your comment confuses me. I don't understand why you would suggest picking a more dull color. I would find the display more dull if the red in the wallpaper was picked.

I've been told that my display hurts people's eyes. Is this perhaps why one would pick a shade of a color that is not as bright? If so, it also confuses me how the brighter colors can hurt people's eyes. I sometimes stare at my display for a while and it never comes close to hurting my eyes. In my confusion I've shown my roommate, my best friend online, and my family my display and none of them claim it hurts their eyes. However, many people on forums say it does. Is everyone's monitors set with the colors too high or something?

Maybe you don't have the lastest version of the component and that's the problem...

and using that code, i was wondering how i get my album art to show up, how do i modify the code for it,

my album art is located here:
C:\Documents and Settings\jeff\My Documents\My Music\Album Art

my album art is saved by artist like this:
artist.jpg

and the image that i want to show up if there is no album art is here:
C:\Documents and Settings\jeff\My Documents\My Music\Album Art\noart.jpg

The first $imageabs2 shows the "no cover" image.
And with the second $imageabs2, show the Cover Art above the "no cover".

Only thing really new would be the progress bar on the track being played. Did have it covering the whole item, but it seemed too intrusive.

I think I might have now gotten it to be as simple as I wish for it to be, yet still as functional as ever. No more need for an album art panel (except for when viewing lyrics, which would be nice if someone modded that to include album art or the ability to use pictures ...)

Still too lazy to download band pictures for each artist.
