So i wonder, if there is a string or something which will enable the artist view to switch as you switch or select another song in the album, with various of artists?

Surely thats more relevant to the single column playlist thread.

All credit to your beginners thread (which I suggested myself last week) but questions relevant to plugins should be kept within their dedicated threads.

We need a beginners forum though

That is the best use of albumart inside the single column I have seen. Amazing.

but seriously, just ask for any help. i know how hard it can be setting up foobar if you are new to these forums. took me a couple of hours of research until i got it to look like this.

I appreciate it,but currently I am busy with School and so on,so I basicly have no time messing around with how to learn how to make my foobar look hot.Specially as I have it in the tray 95% of the time.So the effort just isn't worth the eyecandy really,at least not for me.

What fonts look GOOD WHEN YOU WRITE THEM IN CAPS, IN BLACK, ON A LIGHT BACKGROUND, FOR SONGS?

Sorry about the CAPS, just to prove my point. It's usualy ugly, and only DS-Digital is a bit nice. But, annoying to read

Any suggestions? (excluding fonts) Cause I'm limited to unicode fonts, I think I might make an if statement later on that can change the font automatically depending on language, if thats the case then I could use a different one for English songs

I've yet to find a good looking true unicode font. Considering my collection has english, japanese, german, hebrew and spanish characters ;p

Well, some minor adjustments and tweaks, but it is basicly the same set-up I have posted before. Although, at this point, I believe I am done with configuring the appearance of my foobar (said it b/4, but may mean it this time

I'm almost satisfied with this, but I do have one question for any foobar guru:
Now, I may have picked a bad screen shot for this, but look at the status bar, at the progression bar. See how the filled-in portion is greenish? I want it blue like the spectrum. However, I have no idea what the color codes are or how to find them at all.
Any help would be appreciated.

@ corganzero0, the status bar uses standard the $rgb(R,G,B) function, where R,G,B are red, green and blue values from 0 to 255.

Example: "$rgb(50,50,50)bla" turns "bla" grey.

But ColumnsUI (as you see my artist column is that color also) uses something else.
In my artist column under "style" it says: C08000|C08000|FFFFFF|FEF3ED [I THINK this is the color...]
How do I change that to rgb?

How can i achieve 2 different layouts to be changed by key or button?
