I aked this question in the 3rd Party forum a little while back, but got no anwser, so I'll post it here. I'm trying to use the record:// function (by going 'add location-->record://' as a line-in so I can use the DSP in foobar. However, I'd like the option of changing the sample rate and bitrate. Everytime you enter in 'record://' in the "add location," it always auto defaults to 44.1/16bit. Is there anyway to change that, so you can use the record function at a different sample rate? If anybody has any suggestions, please help me out. Thanks.

Well, I figured out how to change the sample rate. After numerous random tries to make record:// input 48khz, I edited the .83 SDK portion of Diskwriter. Now, typing "record48://" records a 48khz input monitor file (or acts as a line-in at 48khz). I wonder why there was never a sample rate option implemented for "record://" in foo_diskwriter.dll?

Right now I have a 48khz foo_diskwriter.dll and a 44.1khz foo_diskwriter.dll. It is kind of a pain right now because in order to switch from 44.1 to 48, I have to close foobar and overwrite whichever diskwriter dll file I want to use.
