After nearly a week of not playing music on my computer, I started foobar2000 and it gave me the following error:

CODE
ERROR (foo_input_std) : Ogg stream is corrupted : C:\files...

for two oggs. The next day, it told me a third ogg was corrupted. I've looked it up on Google, and the only suggestion I found was to remove any ID3 tags that may be present. Tag.exe tells me there are none. I've tried to decode the oggs in foobar, Goldwave, Winamp, and OggDrop, and they all fail. No doubt the files are corrupted.

The only idea I have is that the hard drive is being corrupted somehow, because the drive is many years old. I promptly made a backup of all my music, but I'd still like to get these 3 oggs back.

I've uploaded one for you to look at:

A Beethoven piece which isn't copyrighted, to my knowledge.

Can anyone tell me what's wrong with the ogg, and how to repair it?

Well, if the files got spontaniously corrupted, then most likely bad sectors on the drive killed the data. I'm not sure if you can recover it, at least without a lot of work, because without the ogg header, there's not a whole lot you can do.
