Randomly, at any point during a song playback stops. Pressing pause or play doesn't restart it, I have to seek first then press play. AFAIK there is nothing wrong with the files being played (MP3), they were fine with 0.8.3 and the console doesn't show anything. I was using directsound in 0.8.3, I'm also using it in 0.9 (that's what the default output is isn't it?)
What sound card are you using? Drivers?
Does this only happen with certain file types?

Audigy 2 ZS Platinum with the standard Creative drivers. So far its only happened with MP3, but they by far outnumber any other filetype in my library (the rest is lossless). Interestingly it hasn't happened again since I made the first post. Foobar has been running minimised, the only other things I am doing on the computer are using Microsoft word and browsing a few sites.
I remember a while ago I had a similar problem with foobar 0.8.3, but It wouldn't resume playback no matter what I did. The system would promptly lock up and finally bluescreen with KERNEL_INPAGE_ERROR. I came to the conclusion my system harddrive was failing, replacing it solved the problem.
