Hi Everybody,

Can anyone recommend a prog for burning an audio compilation on cd without pesky gaps

I use nero 6 but obviuosly it's rubbish at this task

Any ideas?

if a actively developed CD burning program can't do what you are asking then it is crap.

nero can do this, so can cdrdao- and cdrecord-based applications for windows (burrrn, burn at once, EAC, etc) as well as the linux counterparts (almost everything uses cdrdao or cdrecord, i.e. k3b)

Excuse me, are you trolling?

Nero can burn without gaps. Now assuming that you posted in the MP3 forum for a reason, I guess that you mean burning CDs from MP3 gaplessly. Nero can't do this (neither any program besides Burrn), but it is not Nero's fault. It's the MP3 decoder involved. If you decode you wavs first using foobar2000 (and better yet, you can burn directly from foobar if you have Nero) then you can feed them to whatever program you want.

burnatonce also burns MP3 files without the two second gap. cool.gif
