Full Version: It takes quite a time to shutdown foobar and too much memory usage...

When I shut foobar down (which I seldom do hehe) it always takes up to five seconds before it shuts down, is this a known issue related to some certain component? I can't figure out what the heck it is.
Also, foobar uses a lot of memory, 65MB when idle, sure I have some components installed, but isn't 65MB a little too much than it's supposed to be?

Do you have a really large playlist? (tens of thousands of songs). If you do, that may be the cause.

Thanks for the answer, the problem though, is that I usually don't have more than a few albums in the playlist.

Do you have the Audioscrobbler/LastFM plugin? Causes me the same problems

Hmmm...I don't know what to tell you, that's weird. One of the best things about fb2k is it's low memory footprint......

Check out mine.....

Try removing all your thirdparty/optional components (the ones that didn't come with the installer) and see if it still happens. If not, add them back one at a time until you find the one which is responsible. Be sure to press 'Yes' when it asks if you want to retain the removed plugins' settings.

Mine takes a while to shutdown too, I thought it was because of the 11 autoplaylists I have. Although you don't seem to be using that so maybe thats not the problem.
