I am using Foobar to convert some of my APE images + CUE sheet to a FLAC image. I just started using foobar a couple days ago.
One thing I noticed is when it recompresses my APE+CUE to a .FLAC file, it tags the cue sheet and includes it in the file. 'Very nice. When I view the CUE sheet in foobar, all my indexes are correct, both index 0 and index 1 references. My CD is perfectly intact.
However, when I convert the image to a WAV file + CUE sheet, it leaves out index 0 from all the tracks. Why is that?

OK, the APE files have nothing to do with it. It's a Foobar problem. Why does it leave out index 0's from the cue sheet when you re-create the CUE + WAV file from with foobar? If you look at the properties for the FLAC, it's in there perfectly fine?
Robert
There's another problem with Foobar too. Since it leaves out index zero from the first track, like my Beatles - Rubber Soul example which has one, the re-created WAV file also isn't exactly the same as the original! Foobar is really messed up in this arena.

About a week ago, I reported a similar issue (I think) with foobar2000 leaving out the index 0 when making APL link files:

Yep, this appears to be a bug. And even if I tag the CUE sheet properly within my FLAC file, when it's extracted, it's all wrong. All index zeroes, including the one before track 1, are gone. See my other linked post above in the lossless codecs forum.
Is it sufficient to notify the developers by just posting here?
