im new to foobar, but so far i love it...i want to customize my foobar and use other peoples foobars and such, but i have no idea how to do it...ive downloaded some screens, but dont know where to go from there...is there a how to guide somewhere? and any other how to guides on customizing different parts of foobar?

Are you asking how to use .FCS files?

First of all, make sure you are getting an FCS that is for the same version of foobar2000 you are using (0.8/0.9). And be sure you have the latest version of Columns UI, as well as making it the active user interface.

FCS loading is done in Preferences > Display > Columns UI > Main tab ...(assuming you have v0.9)

That will take care of many things like playlist formatting & colors, but you will still need to set up some things on your own. Such as getting all of the necessary components (panels, etc), and adding them to your layout. FCS files are somewhat limited, in that they simply don't include component .dlls, and can't arrange your complete layout.
