hello, I used a program called '123 audio video merger' to join many mp3s.
But I just realized they are badly merged ! I can hear a click at each joining point.
I should have used musicutter, but for many reasons, the other program was easier to use.
Now what can I do to remove the clicks ? Is there an mp3 repair tool that can do this ?
Help, pleaaase !

Try to cut out the clicks with
mp3DirectCut. Maybe
MP3val would help too.

hello, I tried mp3directcut but it's impossible to edit the clicks
(they're too small).... I tried MP3val and it has fixed the mp3s
but the clicks are still here !

Old post but what the heck.
I had a similar problem with a rip from a CD that I can't play anymore (funghi disease!) and I hadn't ripped it in lossless back then.
Only way I could remove clicks was to do it with a hexeditor!
I don't think there's a program around that fixes them without decoding the mp3.

mp3directcut can do this, link two posts above yours..
Perhaps I should've put it better. I didn't mean "remove" as remove the part that has the clip/crack but rather repair as in for example use some kind of interpolation.
Reencode. MP3-> Wav -> Edit -> MP3
There is no other way.
Thanks for verifying that once again. That was indeed my belief from my initial post.
Guess we're still away from a true mp3 editor...
