i am trying to make the switch from winamp to foobar...but cant even get the iu columns to work properly...when i try to open it with foobar it gives me like 50 of these:

Playback error
Unable to open item for playback (Unsupported file format):
"C:\Documents and Settings\brendan\Desktop\foo_ui_columns.7z"


what next...i downloaded. the 7z, and also winrar...but have no idea what to do next...any help will be wonderful...thanks

A 7z file is a compressed file in the 7-Zip format

Download and install 7-Zip, extract foo_ui_columns.dll, and place that file inside the components directory of your foobar2000 install (usually C:\Program Files\foobar2000\components\).

thanks...heres what happens after i do that...it shows that the file is in the components folder, but foobar does not load and this message comes up....

Failed to load DLL: foo_ui_columns.dll
Reason: This component is missing a required dependency, or was made for different version of foobar2000.

What version foobar and what version columns ui?

foobar v0.9 foo_ui_columns.dll 7z i downloaded dolumns from hydrogenaudio...not sure how to see which one..nor did i know there were others
