Hi guys, sorry, I couldnīt find an answer to my question by searching, so here I go:
- I have a car stereo that doesnīt read mp3, just plain cds.
- I have a lot of mp3 that I would like to hear on my car stereo.
So my solution would be:
1- Convert the mp3 files to wav.
2- Burn a CD with all these files.
Question:
1- My approach is ok?
2- Would the mp3 files loose some quality? I know that Iīm not going to gain any quality.
3- What tool can I use to do the conversion? Foobar?
Thanks in advance for your answers. (Sorry for my english....)

You will lose no quality, but if you rip the CDs to MP3 again you will lose more quality, so it's important not to delete the files! You should be able to use your CD writing software to do the conversion for you, just by telling it to burn an audio CD and adding the MP3s to it. It depends on the program that you use.
tgoose is right, the most convenient way is to have your CD burning software do the decoding.
A nice and free tool to perform this job is Gambit's
Burrrn. It also adds CDtext info from the id3 tags, if your car stereo supports it.

Most people have nero nowadays, and if they don't they should probably get it, since it's handy for pretty much every burning task.
Nero just burn an audio CD, add the mp3 files and it handles everything for you.
Alternatively, you can try Burrrn. It should work for this (though I could be wrong).

Burrrn will automatically do it, and it will create a gapless audio CD.
Don't forget, Burrrn is easy to use. My father is 69 and he is having no difficulty.. plus it's free!! (donations are always welcome).

Foobar works just as well as Burrrn. You must have Nero installed for foobar to work though. Otherwise just add tracks to a playlist in foobar, right-click and point to the convert menu, and write audio CD.
