Full Version: Sleep function for fb2k?

Hi,

I was wondering if a component or plug-in for fb2k exist that enables sleep function and alarm? What I would like is to be able to have fb2k play for a set amount of time and then stop or close. Having alarm functionality would be an added bonus.

Does anyone know if something like this exists?

A round-about way of having an alarm clock would be to add a scheduled task (built into windows) to launch foobar at a specfic time, and then check off the option in foobar to 'resume play automatically on start' or whatever the option is called. Tada - Crude alarm clock.

Though there may or may not be a plugin for what you are asking.

Don't forget that foobar2000 has many commandline switches too, so you don't need the 'resume play automatically' option, you could use foobar2000.exe /play

Try foobar2000 /help to see a list of commands:
CODE
Available switches:
/add, /play, /pause, /playpause, /prev, /next, /rand, /stop, /exit, /show, /hide, /config
/command:<menu command>, /playlist_command:<context menu command>, /playing_command:<context menu command>

P.S.: if you wanna use foo_scheduler for 0.8, plz browse the whole topic, because neither the sourceforge page nor the topic's 1st page are up to date

I installed 0.8 to try it out. Very nice indeed. I can't wait until it's available for 0.9. In fact, not many plug-ins are ready for 0.9 at this point I've noticed.
