Full Version: A stupid Q about .pls web radios and FB playlists
Hydrogenaudio Forums > Hosted Forums > foobar2000 > Support - (fb2k)

What am I doing wrong to experience the following: I have made several playlists in my Foobar 0.9.0 using the media files on my PC. However, when I start a .pls web radio stream from my Firefox browser, the radio stream replaces an FB playlist (probably the playlist that was active previously when FB was running).

What's happening?

At a guess (because I don't use 0.9) Preferences > Tools > Playlist Tools > Redirct added items

Thanks, but I don't seem to be able to find any such item in preferences.

Have you got foo_utils?

emr:
See Preferences > General > "Enqueue incoming file by default...".

"Redirect added items" applies only to playlists that have been made read-only by foo_utils (this is an effect in foobar2000, the playlist files on disk are not changed by this).

you can also choose a defualt playlist for added files and then it won't erase your random active playlist.
the option is located in: preferences-->general-->commandline-->always send to playlist

Or right above this option is the option to enqueue by default, which will just add the track to the bottom of the playlist. I use this with the "always send to playlist" feature
