Hello!

When I was on Windows 98, it was easy to load several audio files from the Windows explorer by selecting them and pressing ENTER. On Windows XP when I do so, it loads every file one after the other, meaning that I end with having only the last file I selected loaded into foobar. Is there a way to configure Windows to load every file at once into foobar?
PS: I know this isn't a foobar2000 issue, but maybe other users have found the solution to this problem.

Thank you in advance.

It actually is a foobar2000 issue:

Check "Preferences->General->Enqueue incoming files by default (...)"

edit: I think, at least....this could be a separate problem. Try it and let us know.

Thanks, but under Windows 98 I didn't have this option checked, and it worked fine. It started playback right after loading the files, which isn't the case with this option checked. So I think it indeed is Windows' fault. tongue.gif

I have this same problem with Windows XP. I hilight a group of audio files (usually FLAC files), and it doesn't matter whether I click "Play in Foobar" or "Open in Foobar", about 90% of the time it will load the songs all in series and only end up with the last song. Sometimes it willl even load "bunches" of files at once and it will show a few songs at a time in the playlist (eg. 1-3, then 4-6, then 7-10), and in the end I'm left with only one or two files. This is REALLY annoying. I don't want to use the "enqueue files" default setting, because I want anything in my current playlist to be unloaded, and only have the new files in the list. I really wish this was fixed!! It's not a Windows 98/NT/2000/XP thing if other people are getting it on other OS's.

It would also be much nicer if Foobar dealt with right-clicking directories in Windows Explorer and had the Foobar play options in the context menu
