Background: I used to run a Mac and PC side by side. PC for games and CD ripping (using EAC), Mac for everything else.
Now with the Intel Macs out, with BootCamp native booting and Parallels virtualization, I've dumped the PC and G4 PowerMac and consolidated with a 20" iMac (a fantastic machine, BTW).
On my PC, I had EAC configured with iTunesEncode to rip to Apple Lossless. However, I have not been able to duplicate the correct command code line to do the same with my new setup. The only thing that has changed is the version of iTunes I'm running. On my PC, I was running iTunes 5. On virtualized Windows on my Mac, I'm running iTunes 6.
I've searched the forums and can't find the original post where I found the correct command line to get this working on my PC in the first place. I thought I had it, but the resulting rips in iTunes are 128 kbps AAC, even though I have iTunes set to import as Lossless in the preferences.
Can anyone help? Thanks!
