Hello, Im new to these forums.. but I've searched the net for answers to no avail.

I am a user of fruityloops an audio sequencer.

My question:

Fruityloops uses lame as an mp3 encoder and as of yet has no support for ogg. They have stated they might turn to ogg in the near future because of the .mp3 copyright's, some legal thing going on in the .mp3 world ( not exactly sure )

Well i can upgrade the latest lame_enc.dll and it will work in Fruityloops, but is there a lame to ogg wrapper that takes incoming audio stream from a program and encodes into ogg?

Just render the song as .WAV and then afterwards encode to ogg?

Edit: or such wrapper should be easy todo, but I think there isn't one available...

If fruitloops is able to use windows-acm then you could install the ogg-acm and give it a try.

Sorry haven't tried fruity only buzz but I know these programs are similar...
