i've tagged my collection with id3 v1.x and lyrics3 v2.0 (where id3 v1.x was not enough). player was foobar 0.8.3 - it worked well and the tag where at the end of the songs so that the lametag in front of the musicdate was untouched.

but now lyrics3 v2.0 is no longer supported by foobar 0.9.x. can i get back lyrics3 v2.0 support by a plugin or is any id3 v2.x tag suitable for me (are all id3 v2.x tags infront of the lametag and is this good or bad).

in former times tags infront of the music data couldn't be interpreted by hardware players. is this no longer a problem with foobar 0.9.x

i won't change all my tags and all album md5's

I have requested Lyrics3-support several times for 0.9.x, but there won't be (reading) support for this tag type anymore. Maybe better this way. I hope that all scene groups will switch to more common and better ID3v2.4. Well, at least to ID3v2.3.
