is there a thread or page that would describe the main tech differences between those encoders?

1. iam trying to write down a simple explanation of difference beween subband and transform codec and also trying to understand the lack of time resolution with mp3 and how that is handled by mpc.
also some info on vorbis in that same comparision would be nice...

2. also some nice mp3 vs aac and aac vs mpc thread or site would be helpful.
