Every time I compress an EAC-ripped WAV to mp3 using RazorLAME, I get an unkown error. Do you have any ideas as to what might be causing them?

Here is the log file from my most recent compression:

I switched back to 3.96.1 with all the same tags and there were no errors. I suppose I'll wait for 3.97 to be finalized...

Apart from the fact that RazorLame is outdated, try to fetch version 1.1.5a from the RazorLame homepage

It does exactly the same thing to me, and I have new version and new DAT.

Is there software as configurable as RazorLAME?

Ivan.

all2lame?
Never_Again
All2lame is little more than a glorified batch file. Check out AdvaLAME Suite instead: RazorLAME-like interface, more options, up-to-date and --preset friendly.

This is always overlooked, but EAC can be used to compress from WAV to MP3 using LAME just fine. I have done it. cool.gif

I've checked out AdvaLameSuite, and decided to keep it smile.gif
Thanks.
