in a couple of days I will receive my new notebook with a Bluetooth 2.0 module in it, supporting A2DP profile.
My question is if the A2DP profile (stereo transmission) is suitable for HI-FI transmission ( for example to my KOSS PORTA PRO headphones) provided a suitable receiver is at hand?
What do the specs say? What are the frequency ranges and responses?
How is the transmission being done? Does it involve another digitalization, quantization or is it transmitted in a kind of analogue format?
Thing is, I was thinkig of using a Bluetooth headphone for two purposes: music listening and Internet phone.
Or will I have to wait for this another decade?
