Hi!

I converted a bunch of APE files to the Ogg format by using Foobar's (9.1) converter. The results are ok on my pc (as expected), but my Trekstor I.beat Organix ceased to play those Ogg files - the device just freezes and has to be reset.

This never happened with the oggs created (from the same ape source files) by the 08.3 diskwriter, so I tracked down foobar 8.3 again, used a standard ogg-preset and pointed the writer to the same ogg encoder which was used by the 9.1 converter (aoTuVb4.5) - and now it worked again on the Trekstor player.

Here are the 8.3 settings for the diskwriter:

Parameters: -q4 - -o %d (simple as that)

Format is: lossy

Highest BPS mode supported: (greyed out because "Pass floating point data" is checked)

Encoder required accurate length: unchecked.

The 9.1 converter settings:

Parameters: -Q -q4.000000 - -o %d

Highest BPS mode supported: 16

Any ideas? Btw, MP3 files converted through the 9.1 converter are doing fine on the Trekstor. Must be a (now hidden) setting for Ogg that was added - or taken - since 8.3.

Greets, Karsten
