Is there any quick fix for this? I wanna use columns_ui, but I don't have XP SP1... Is there any config file I can tweak or something? Thanks

I'm using foobar 0.9.1 with XP Professional, with no service packs. I got my iPod installed with no service packs, I was wondering if there is a way to make foo_columns_ui.dll work without any?

Is there some particular reason not to install service packs?

I heard bad things, and plus I WinDizzed (http://windowsupdate.62nds.com/) all the required updates without bloating my system with useless stuff.

I had heard bad things too, but it works just like before, even better. It won't bloat your system, I promise, at least if you use a program called xp-AntiSpy.

I heard bad things about not updating to SP2.

And yes, the only proper fix is for you to install a service pack.

It still amazes me that people don't upgrade to service pack 2....
