I just started using rockbox on my iPod this week...so I'm pretty much a n00b at it so far

But I was curious, Is there a better file manager for updating the songs on my iPod

Windows Explorer likes to overwrite everything If I try to update all the folders at once

I need something that acts similar to and FTP client, only syncing new files and not overwriting the old ones, unless I tell it to.

Foobar2000 has that nifty file manager, but I need something that supports all file formats, since I have a cover.bmp in each folder for the album art patch in rockbox.

Any input would be appreciated, thanks!

You can tell foobar to copy the entire folder (album art included).

totalcommander

the "sychronize dirs" command in totalcommander is exactly what I was looking for...even updates the files when i change the tags since it looks at when the file was last modified
