Hey all,

I know what it is, but was curious if someone could tell me the true name for such a track.

Someone is writing a little doc/description for it on a site and want to to title it by the spec specified name.

Regards..

hidden track, truly "hidden" track wink.gif http://www.cdrfaq.org/faq03.html#S3-36
i don't think there's a specified name for it. Call it just track 0...

Pregap of the first track = Track 01 , Index 00

edit: Some people call it "Hidden Track One Audio" or "HTOA"

I've always called it an extended pregap.

I think I made that one up since I needed a name myself for this page. blush.gif

I'm wondering now if Hidden Pre-Track One Audio would be more accurate?

I've always called it the first track pregap.

Hidden Pre-Track One Audio or similar i think should be reserved for cases where the pregap of the first actually contains a hidden track. My drive has problems ripping those but if its just a bit of silence slightly longer than the standard lead in it's usually not a problem.
