this page is all very well and good, but i still can't get my foobar to look like i want it to (and i've seen others look). i just got 0.9.x, and i've been messing with it for a few days now...

i got it to look like this

but i'd rather it look more like this. another one. See, what i really want is the tree menu in my main library window. so i have expanding/collapsing stuff (ala those previous two image's top frames) that can go artist ->album->track, or whatever. The album art frame of this one would be great, too, but i can't seem to get UI album art stuff to work. actually, i cant get UI anything to work, other than the basic columns. mine looks like this now.

I guess, idealistically, i'd like it to look like this.

sorry if this is in the wrong section... i figured it would be best here because most of the discussion that will ensue has to do with 3rd party plugins.

any help you guys can offer?

EDIT: http://img184.exs.cx/img184/8312/foo2000neu0ct.png <-that one's track info frames are great... would be perfect if main window was replaced with tree-like organization. i have playlist tree, btw, but it won't do anything.

It might be helpful to browse the foo_ui_columns discussion topic , where similar questions have been answered

and likewise, most other components have discussion topics posted in the 3rd Party Plugins forum, if you have specific questions about them. just search for the dll name, by titles only

good luck

Hi, for some help, you can go here:
