Hi, I need some help on the global keys. When I am playing multiplayer online games, I listen to foobar. Well, since my ghx card is lame, I can not minimize the game to switch playlists on foobar. I wanted to know how can i switch playlists and start playing from the playlist that I chose when using the global keys. I can get foobar to switch playlists using the global keys, but i cant make it start playing from that playlist. It keeps on playing from the last playlist. Any help would be nice.
workaround is to enable playback->playback follows cursor

hmm, I tried enabling it, but i still cant get it to start playing the next playlist using the global keys. Anyother why i can do this?
well you have to hit the key for next track after changing the playlist (or the play button). changing the playlist only makes it the visible one and sets cursor there. next time track should play, it would start from the cursor position (with playback follows cursor enabled).

ok, this is what i do. I have the foobar playing. I then use a global key to change to the next playlist. Then while having playback follows cursor enabled, i use a global key to change to the next song. All it does is go to the next song on the last playlist i used. I tried stoping the song and play it again, but i will not go to the next playlist.
ah. i see where the problem lies. it's not enough to have 'focus' on the new playlist, you have to make selection - like using up/down key or enter to start playing. i suggest that you use 3rd party hotkey utility to pass up or enter key to foobar after changing playlists.
edit: interestingly though, focus is enough to change next song to play inside one playlist, so it's a little bit strange it doesn't work when changing playlists. so - this may be foobar's bug or inconsistency.
