Ah..I love the cue files that have the index 00 and index 01 showing the pregaps..atlas, my newest acciqusitions have non compliant .cue files, like the one below:

When I try to burn or mount it ill get a burn error along the lines of unable to access the data or when I mount it I get "unable to mount image. cue sheet:line 15 - no starting INDEX was defined for the previous track.". I know this is having to do the the index 00 and 01 relationships, and when I cut a .cue I do it right by getting all the gaps/pregaps on the cue. But when its done this way, I heard there is a way to get it to burn correctly w/ the gaps, if I can even get the program to eat the cue. Any help would be most appreciated.

You don't say what program you are using. But from the error "unable to mount image..." (it's not an image) I'd guess you are not using a program that supports noncompliant cue sheets, such as EAC or Burnnn.

I tried burning via EAC and Nero. the error was from daemon tools, in that im trying to get it to read so I could copy it to get the gaps. Im trying to utilitze this .cue to either 1)burn it properly (with proper gaps) or 2) open/mount the cue to allow me to access it w/ proper gaps in a program like eac/daemon tools, etc.

Gambit
Burn it with Burrrn.

Daemon Tools does not support these kind of rips, and support for it isn't planned, AFAIK.

You have several options if you want the rip on CD-R:

- Gambit already said it: use Burrrn
- use EAC to burn the non-compliant rip

And if you want to keep it on your HD but make it accessible by all applications that normally support image+cue:

- convert the non-compliant rip to a compliant one with CUETools
