Doesn't work for me too. Right click / save as works apparently, but the downloaded flac file is only 12 kb, and correspond to a html file.

EDIT: I suppose that the upload forum is an easy place to make this file available for the whole HA people

This synthetic sample causes problems for all codecs. MPC fails at --quality 10, Nero Reloaded's encoder fails at "Transcoding" too. Wavpack 4.1 lossy fails at -b250 but does well at -b300. Vorbis handles it the best, making it extremely hard to ABX at -q10, but it uses 215-221 kbps (aoTuV), whereas the other codecs allocate many less bits. yandexx, what program did you use to create it? It's a pure sine wave. It's no wonder it can't be encoded properly. BTW, when adding a quiet layer of (synthetic) strings and merging it with the drum beat, all codecs handle it well

BTW, if it's from a CD, tell us which one? a Sample CD? A Yamaha synthesizer samples CD? CoolEdit?
