I've been noticing some problems with Foobar lately... namely that it consistently uses 20-40% of my system resources and noticeably slows my computer even when idle and minimized. Playing music and doing anything else at the same time is out of the question. I uninstalled a couple recent plug-ins that might have been causing this, but that only brought it down from the 50 range. Anyone got any ideas? Specs: P4 2.66 Ghz, 512 MB RAM
Thanks in advance.

More info about the foobar version, gui, and plugins you're using would help.
But my best guess:
If you're using the Trackinfo panel in 0.9x, make sure that Scroll Steps is set to 1 (right-click panel and choose Preferences to change it). The default setting eats cpu cycles like crazy.
If that doesn't help, do a search. There's a thread or two full of suggestions to improve performance.

That seems to have done the trick. Thanks a lot.
