ive been reading this forums for quite a long time now.
i have already learned alot from you people and appreciate all the work you do!
i almost feel a bit shamed for what i am about to ask but im a rookie when it comes to foobar compared to most of you guys

my problem is that when im listening to a cd with foobar, it doesnt automatically load the album information.
which furthermore means that if i want to rip the cd i would have to enter every title manually.

im almost sure that there is a pissibility to do that with foobar since even the wmp can do that.

so please drop a message in here and tell me what to change/download.

edit: i really have tried the search engine of this forums before. but to be honest i didnt really know what to search for.
again: im sorry if this is a very stupid question but im still rather new to all this.

You can get foo_freedb2 from my components page, but there is no way to have it look up the information automatically.

and as i see that you are one of the main developers of foobar, i would like to thank you and your team for developing this great software!
it is so much better than anything comperable. and i would also like to thank all these talented people who are developing the plug-ins.

again, the sound is so awesome with my foobar settings + my headphones!
so much better than the windows media player which i used to use.

damn this sounds cheesy but i felt like saying it.

ps: maybe you should concider a "thank you thread".
its definetly appropriate since this is a free software.
