Full Version: XM Radio thru foobar2000 somehow?

Pardon me if I am hosing here - I didn't see anything in the FAQs or plugins and doing a search for Satellite didn't come up with anything that I could find (couldn't search "XM") ...

anywho, I would really like to just use foobar2000 instead of having to have that AND xAMP for my XM subscription ... I don't know if that is possible or if anyone had thought of it - or if it can even be done for that matter - but I thought I'd ask ...

Thanks smile.gif

Works alright, though it could use some more robustness with the way XM Online has been running lately (poorly). Be prepared for something a little more spartan than xAMP though.

Awesome!

It is great when someone makes a tool that helps others get more functionality out of a util that's already awesome (like foobar).

I really appreciate it and the welcome. smile.gif

sorry to exhume an old topic

but how do i get fb2k to copy the metadata from the stream such as song and artist info that is shown in top? what can i add to the copy command to do this?
FrozenSpoon
Hey. Might want to use the foo_xm thread in the future so your question is noticed easier/faster.

The metadata should be copyable through the standard copy command (just like any other track) that you configure in Foobar's title formatting.
