I read from various sources that the number of samples per frame is fixed to 1152 in MPEG1 layer 3. But if it's a stereo frame, there would be 1152 samples or 1152*2=2304?
Thanks in advance

1152. The number depends on version and layer.

A stupid question: an stereo sample is considered a pair of values, or these values are samples by itself? In other words, an stereo stream is considered to be a sequence of pair of values, or a pair of sequences of values?
