Can someone tell us the current status of the
"Information technology — Coding of audio-visual objects — Part 3: Audio, AMENDMENT 5: BSAC extensions"?

Also, it would be great if we could get an explanation of the purpose of this amendment - where is this BSAC+SBR symbiosis supposed to be used, what are the target applications, advantages, etc...
