Full Version: making FLACs with EAC and getting the tracks right

ok so here's how i backup my cd's at the mo

1: EAC using FLAC i rip everything to FLAC files with tags with all relevant info
(here's the kink)
FLAC doesn't let me (in one step) make the track tag of a file look like '01/16' instead of '01'
so i do step two
2: load up tagscanner and quickly add the '/16' part of the tags
3: stash the files for the future when a better lossy codec comes along and i'll use foobar/all2lame/whatever is good at that point to mass decode everything in my archive, with all the tag info coming from the FLAC file's own tags, meaning i don't have to actually do any more steps than just clicking encode!

my beef is with step number 2, is there a command line i can give EAC to feed FLAC.exe to make the track tag be x/x instead of just x, i've looked through the documentation and tried ticking the option in EAC (cos there is one) and nothing works

anyone got any ideas?

thanks in advance!

aw c'mon! somebody's gotta know how to do this!?

ok, when EAC rips the files off a CD and turns them into FLACs, who does the tagging? FLAC.exe?
Cosmo
Those "additional command line options" are indeed being processed by FLAC.exe

There is no command to format the tracknumber as x/x
