I have all of my library in Artist/Album/Song.flac with a folder.jpg cover art in each album folder. I want to transcode to LAME WITH replaygain and have the tags written, preserve folder structure AND use the folder.jpg to add album art to the tags.

FB2k can do much of this, but many apps and players dont like the new tag formats. In addition it wont write the album art and have had problems with it randomly skipping the transcoding of some songs in the library.

87 views and not one suggestion? I guess the app just isnt out there?

Please, at first let us know more about those applications, and then show us what you are doing with foobar2000. I am sure, that you have done some kind of mistake.

Well, I know fb2k cant write the cover image to the tags. As for fb2k skipping the transcode of some songs, I cant find the problem. It transcodes 99.9% but randomly skips a few without any error output or reason that I can see.

You can use FLAC Frontend to convert FLAC to WAV, but obviosuly then it won't keep your tags.

That doesnt really accomplish any of the goals.
